I think you can achieve your required output by follwoing steps:
1. First we need to create a date object in the Universe to give the Previous Year date or Future Year Date based on your date Object.
I hope you understood the above logic, You need create any one object.
2. Now we should use two data providers to get our output.
In case if we are using Fututre Date concept.
In First Data provider select the objects along with the current date object.
In Second Data provider select the required objects and select the Future Date object instead of current date object.
Now run the two queries and merge the date objects Current Date and Future Date along with other common objects.
3. Now you can display the measue values side by side for current date and previous date at a time.
Current Date date will get from the First Data provider and Previous Date data will come from Second data provider.
4. You can perform your calculations using these two measure objects.
