16.5 - Receive Error When Setting up DBC

Hello,

I recently installed PowerDesigner Version 16.5.3.3 (4371), SP03 PL03.  I am testing it's various functionality, and got to database connections.  I tested initially with all my existing connections that were defined with version 15.3 utilities.  However, I learned I have an issue when I tried to define a new connection.  It turns out I cannot create new connections with 16.5.  It says that I am not logged in as the administrator.  I have found posts only saying that this error is due to a bit version difference, 32 vs 64, and that I should use 32 bit.  The issue here is that I would have to have the Netezza client installed on my machine to have the netezza driver.  That is an expensive approach just to reverse engineer a database into a modeling tool.  So the other option is to be logged in as an admin.  That will never happen given our InfoSec policies.

How can I fix this without installing the Netezza client client on my machine.  That is the only way I can get the driver for the Windows ODBC Admin to work that I am aware of.  PowerDesigner has the driver already, and I would rather use it to define my connection as it was designed to do.  Please assist.  Thanks!

Pic of error attached.
