Hi RV,
1. No you need to use Promotion Management to transport your dashboards and you will need to make sure that the connections of your BEx queries are correct too. Meaning that they poin to your QA BW system. To achieve this, you can use Override settings.
2. For this I will suggest you to use some flash variables that can bring you back your QA or PROD Business Objects system that you can define dynamic links between them.
