Kanban status change from Green to Red automatically in eKanban process

Dear Expert,

In the SAP External KanBan process, when consumption(Good Issue – 261 movement) of component happens the KanBan status in PK13N is not updated automatically from green to red.

Is it normal process?

Here is the detail process I want for your information.

1. Consumption of component with Production order confirmation -> 2. the status of KanBan is changed from green to red automatically -> 3. PO (JIT call or Schedule Line) is sent to a supplier automatically

If it is not possible, is there any alternative to change Kanban status when consumption happened?
